so love tanka

you quicken our hearts
(and our eyes start to well up)

so precious, so mutual,

  Thank you, Judy. But I’m also sharing Sali’s heart and soul. Without her none of this poetry would exist. She is my love and inspiration, my muse. I just reflect on what’s happening and try to put in words the sweet-sad transformational wonder of it all.
