Willow Tree – a tanka – from a tree’s perspective

WILLOW TREE
An Overflowing Fountain of Green

Willow Tree Whispers
People say … Weeping Willow
But I’m not crying

Just bowing down … to the Earth
Kissing the ground … with my leaves
