Tanka For Sali Upholding Her Wonderful Nature

Tanka For Sali Upholding Her Wonderful Nature
Her essence shines through the Dementia!

Through all the Changes
Your Nature Remains the Same
Sweet, Joyful, Loving

Radiating Sallyness
Constant as the Northern Star

Beautiful Ken. To see beyond appearances into Sali’s soul is a gift and display of wisdom that few people have. I’m not saying that this hasn’t been difficult for you, I know it has. Still, your devotion and deep connection, your love for Sali, is inspiring.

Thanks for your kind words, Steven. Of course it’s not all bliss and light. I don’t have to remind you of that. But I don’t feel the need to focus on the limiting aspect of the disease, if you know what I mean. Who and what she is, to me, keeps me going. Karma may be unfathomable, but love is eternal, and transformational! JGD
